Committees
The Green Chamber of Commerce has standing committees in the areas of Education, Events, Marketing, and Political Advocacy.
All committees meet on a monthly basis and typically take place via conference call.

Description:
The Events Committee is responsible for planning all of the events the Green Chamber hosts, such as the Annual Event Gala or partnerships with the GCC.

The Education Committee is committed to developing green business educational opportunities on sustainable certifications, current trends and changes in sustainable industries, and additional exposure to alternative eco-commerce models and sustainability theories.

The Marketing Committee is responsible for marketing the Green Chamber’s work to its members and others demonstrating that we are the voice of sustainable business!

The Political Advocacy Committee is responsible for researching, promoting, and educating GCC member and community on sustainable business policy through effective blog posts, website, newsletter, and social media channel communication.

- Endorse and champion two or more pieces of legislation at highest level GCC involvement
- Research and report on additional local and state policy pertaining to sustainability that will help keep GCC members and community abreast of current trends and changes
