Our Advocacy Commitment

The Green Chamber of Commerce Advocacy Committee’s goal is to keep our members engaged and informed about policy issues that affect green business.  Our criteria in determining which legislation to support are based on its overall impact on the economy, environment and social equity.  The Green Chamber is focused on providing our members with local to San Francisco Bay Area and state level advocacy.

State Legislation
Because our headquarters are based in San Francisco, CA we focus primarily on California state measures and legislation.   As we add more chapters nationwide we will be expanding this to include other states.  Read about our vote on past California initiatives.

Views on The U.S. Chamber of Commerce

National Legislation
To engage in national legislation that impacts green businesses, we partnered with the American Sustainable Business Council (ASBC) so that we could lend our voice in support of national passage and recognition of Sustainable Business.
